Bimmian is the nation’s #1 online aftermarket BMW parts and accessories supplier. Bimmian sells online, direct to consumer. Bimmian came to DigitlHaus in need of a new brand logo and identity. With that, they also wanted to move from their custom platform over to BigCommerce, while obtaining a new selling strategy and implementation.
Bimmian was falling short in their online market due to their outdated platform and shopping experience they were delivering. There was site errors upon checkout and different category and product pages would throw a 404 error without reason.
Bimmian’s brand identity also was lacking. They were using a very old branded logo and color scheme, while trying to present to a luxury market.
Bimmian’s product setup was very confusing for the customer. To manage internally, it took a developer to code in descriptions and options into the product page, which overall was very inefficient.
We first started this project by developing a new brand identity for Bimmian. This consisted of a new logo, a color scheme and a font scheme.
We custom designed and developed a BigCommerce store with a strategic conversion flow. We ensured that the product page layout and the data was easily manageable from the admin end and shoppable on the consumer’s end.
When we deployed we ensured all web data was moved properly, while capturing all SEO redirection to ensure there was no loss of search rankings.
Within the first 3 weeks from launch, Bimmian saw a increase in conversions. Their bounce rate significantly lowered, while the time the users spent shopping on mobile increased dramatically.
Bimmian can now manage their online store from the admin without the need of development and coding knowledge. They can also manage their emails and accounts easier, which saves them time and money in back office hours.
