Farley Outdoors was on a extremely dated platform which caused issues with customer checkout, backend management and product updates. We partnered with Farley Outdoors and migrated them from XCart to BigCommerce. We re-structured their products, organized their catalog, and migrated 100k products. We also custom designed and developed a branded BigCommerce theme while giving their brand identity a complete makeover.
A Complete Design Overhaul
We took the opportunity to start from scratch and design and develop a fully custom BigCommerce theme. We updated the clients brand with a new color scheme, logo, fonts and overall image strategy to push a branded identity that Farley Outdoors didn’t have before.
We have introduced several new features to improve conversions, such as; a product up selling widget both on the homepage and product pages, a mega menu to find product easily, a faceted search and filtering system for easy access to certain categories and a product page design that is easy to use and easy to take in information.
Since many customers whom shop in this industry are on the go and are mostly shopping on mobile devices, we have strategically designed and developed the mobile theme for the best user experience possible. We have also optimized code and imagery so site speed will never be a determining factor in loss of sales.
Farley Outdoors has already seen a 100% increase in site speed both on mobile and desktop. The time spend on site has increased by 45%. Bounce rates has decreased by 90%. Overall we have partnered with Farley Outdoors for design and development support as well as on-going SEO services.
