Ryca Motors is a online supplier that sells after market motorcycle parts. They are the go-to-shop for custom cafe racers and sportster bike kits. Ryca sells online only direct to consumer. They are a drop ship company that has successfully taken over the market with their one of a kind custom kits. Ryca came to DigitlHaus to migrate their eCommerce store and to re-strategize and re-design their brand experience.
Ryca was on an old eCommerce platform that was no longer scalable to account for the reoccurring sales they were producing. They needed a new solution fast.
Ryca was struggling with product and category management. Each time a product needed to be updated they had to do double the work with their drop shipper as well as their eCommerce platform.
Ryca was experiencing higher bounce rates and lower conversions than normal due to the outdated UX of the site along with competitors popping up trying to take their place.
The most vital part to this project was to build an integration with Ryca’s drop shipping supplier. We custom developed a real-time application that connected directly with their drop shipper that synched back and forth between BigCommerce.
It was important to Ryca that the navigation of the store was easy to use without multiple levels of categories. We strategically created a category structure that utilized custom filters for browsing and narrowing in on products.
We custom designed and developed a branded BigCommerce store that was easy to navigate with their large product catalog, both on mobile and desktop.
Ryca immediately saw an increase in site conversions and site speed.
Due to the integrated drop shipping application we developed, Ryca is now able to add products within seconds. This integration cut their admin time in half, saving time and money.
Ryca now not only has a a great user experience, but also a branded one. Their customers feel confident in purchasing, while finding what they need easily and efficiently.
