Laurastar is a manufacturer that sells high-end, Swiss ironing products to the B2B and B2C markets. They are well known for their innovation in natural purification products. Laurastar was struggling with their online presence and cost of platform ownership. They needed a new experience that would serve their high-end customers.
To kick-off the project, we did an audit on Laurastar’s Swiss site and strategically planned out changes and opportunities to improve the user experience. To improve customer flow and boost conversions we optimized several areas of the site by simplifying actions, specifically to the add-to-cart process and navigation. The attention to detail in the abstract design was necessary to showcase their unique brand, but also to highlight their high-end technology. We evaluated several potential platforms and chose BigCommerce Enterprise. We developed a completely custom BigCommerce theme with intelligent and simple interactions. We incorporated minimalist lifestyle and product photography to support a forward-thinking, tech-driven experience.
