Red Apple Fireworks is a leading fireworks manufacturer as well as the #1 seller of fireworks online nationwide. Red Apple sells online direct to consumer and they have multiple store locations within the USA. Red Apple Fireworks partnered with DigitlHaus to migrate them from Magento to BigCommerce, while creating a new user experience, design and strategy for their online store.
Red Apple Fireworks needed a new site design and strategy to re-align them to market. They wanted a better way to display their fireworks online as it was difficult for the consumer to understand what the product did by only text descriptions. Also, navigation and search was lacking, while only showing text aspects of their products, their customers had no way of knowing what they were actually looking for.
Lastly, as Red Apple has 3 different warehouses that they distribute from, they needed a way for customers to shop the front of the store and based on location, distribute the product from the correct warehouse in the backend.
We strategically designed and developed a new branded user experience for Red Apple on the BigCommerce framework.
We simplified the customer journey by making a highly interactive experience with custom menus, filtering and custom product pages that included identifiers (icons & swatches) for colors, effects, type and brands. This allowed customers to visually identity all aspects of the product.
We also custom developed a multi-store functionality that would locate a user and direct them to the nearest online store connected to the warehouse for distribution or in-store pickup.
Red Apple Fireworks now has an interactive, easy to navigate and purchase multi-store built to convert. Their new backend system has saved them time and money on management as well as costs on 3rd party applications.
